Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and self-driven UI/UX Designer to own the end-to-end design experience across multiple software projects. As the sole designer at Kirrhosoft, you won’t just be making things “look good”—you will be the voice of design across every product we build. However, we are looking for someone with a good-eye for tasteful design.

You will work directly with engineers, product leads, and stakeholders to transform requirements into intuitive, user-centric experiences. You will also be the single owner of our Design System, ensuring visual and UX consistency across all projects simultaneously.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives with autonomy, manages their time well, and is excited about shaping design culture from the ground up.

Responsibilities

Lead the entire design lifecycle for multiple concurrent projects, from initial discovery and wireframing to high-fidelity mockups and developer handoff.
Establish and streamline the company’s internal design workflows and processes as the foundational designer on the team.
Build, maintain, and scale robust Design Systems in Figma that adapt to various project requirements.
Translate complex product requirements into easy-to-use user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
As the sole designer, create and export all necessary visual assets required for our websites and applications.
Collaborate tightly with frontend and backend engineers to ensure technical feasibility and perform UI QA.
Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions when necessary.
Present design concepts directly to stakeholders and advocate for the user in every technical discussion.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of professional experience designing digital products like web platforms, SaaS, or mobile apps.
Proven ability to work independently, manage your own time, and efficiently context-switch between multiple projects.
A strong portfolio showcasing your end-to-end design process and problem-solving abilities, not just final screenshots.
Strong proficiency in Figma specifically utilizing auto-layout, components, and variables.
Solid understanding of User-Centered Design (UCD) principles, responsive design, and modern UI patterns.
Experience working with and utilizing established Design Systems.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS so you can communicate effectively with developers regarding technical constraints.
Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions to stakeholders.
Attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship.
Experience with the Adobe suite and other prototyping tools (Protopie, Framer) is a plus.
