Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of our software products. You won’t just be blindly clicking through applications—you will be an integral part of the engineering lifecycle, anticipating edge cases and preventing bugs before they reach production.
You will work directly alongside our developers and product team to understand technical requirements, execute rigorous testing, and help lay the groundwork for our automated testing pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Analyze product requirements and design comprehensive, well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Execute manual testing (functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory) for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, isolate, document, and track bugs to resolution using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Perform API testing to ensure backend services are functioning correctly.
- Collaborate directly with software engineers to reproduce issues and verify fixes in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Act as the gatekeeper for quality, ensuring no feature ships without meeting our rigorous engineering standards.
- Assist in writing and maintaining basic automated test scripts (with room to grow your automation skills).
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of professional experience in software quality assurance testing (Web/SaaS focus preferred).
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes (SDLC and STLC).
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
- Experience writing clear, concise, and reproducible bug reports.
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and databases (SQL) to effectively troubleshoot issues.
- A ruthless “break-it” mentality combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively discuss technical issues with developers.
- Bonus: Exposure to or basic knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium).
What We Offer
- A dynamic and collaborative work environment (international culture).
- Yearly increment based on performance.
- Two festival bonuses per year.
- Leave Policy: 25 days (Sick + Casual) + all government holidays.
- Fully subsidized Lunch.
- Unlimited cookies, coffee & tea.
- Opportunities for career growth, especially in transitioning towards QA Automation.
- Chance to work on scalable projects that make a real impact.
